Here is their story:
The Juarez Family moved to Maneadero from Phoenix, AZ just three months ago! Adolfo lost residency status forcing the family to return to Mexico.

Adolfo is originally from Nayarit, and Elizabeth was born in Mexico City but raised in Tijuana. They chose Maneadero over their home towns in order to be close to her daughter who moved out there a few years earlier. Elizabeth lived in the U.S. for the last 27 years with the first 4 back and forth. She is fairly fluent in english. Back in Arizona,  Elizabeth had her own cleaning service with five employees. She had 17 domestic accounts and three construction accounts.

She was also the treasurer/fundraiser at her home church and had her own radio program "Pan Diario" (Daily Bread).

It is amazing how life can change!

One of the first things she did upon arriving in Maneadero was to locate a church through a women she met in a bookstore. She was led to Pastor Rigoberto Avina's church where they are now members. Pastor Rigo guided them with the purchase of their property which is about 200 yards from the mission that he is building in the "Las Flores" area of Maneadero. Service is held every Thursday evening on the site of the future mission (in the dirt on the hill).

Elizabeth plans on rebuilding her business in Ensenada. After only two and a half weeks she has already secured 5 domestic accounts. Her plan is to employ several of the women from her knew community after she has teaches them English.

At the age of four, Elizabeth's father relocated her and her three siblings from Mexico City to Tijuana after he separated from her
mother. Her father, 68 at the time, had seven other adult children from a previous marriage who lived in the U.S. and assisted with the move and continued financial support. At the end of every school year she stayed with her step-brothers in East L.A. and attended summer school. She eventually landed in Phoenix, AZ. At age 14, her daughter  Diana got pregnant and gave birth to Sully Anait. Some time after, Diana decided to move to Sinaloa, Mex. with Sully's father. Elizabeth  was raising Sully and did not allow Diana to take her. Things didn't work out between Diana and her boyfriend so Elizabeth brought her home where she completed her education and became a CNA. Diana reconciled with her boyfriend, got married and gave birth to Litzy.
Soon after, Diana's husband assaulted Elizabeth and he was arrested and eventually deported. At some point Diana separated from her husband and relocated to Maneadero where she currently alone.

Elizabeth has retained custody of both girls thru-out their lives. This home will be going to Elizabeth, her husband Adolfo and the 2 grandchildren.

Currently they make $200 a week in combined income. The property they are leasing to buy is $105 per month for 5 years.

They hope to have electricity within a year.
